Bretts on it...

Brett is a firm believer he can hear the little heartbeat and listens to it almost every night (with a huge smile) before we go to bed!


Brett felt the first kick the other night 01-22-09, it was quite amazing, we were 22 weeks 5 days when we felt it, i'm sure they will only get harder and sharper as the baby grows : )

A great tip from Julie...

So today Brett and I discovered this store Once upon a child, recomended to us by my friend Julie, and it is AWESOME! we found a ton of stuff for super cheap, and most of it was new!! We visited the one in Indiana but will try the Orland Park store as soon as we get a chance! I would absolutely recommend this store to anyone wanting to save a few bucks on baby items...thanks again Julie!!

Where we plan on living...

SOOO the current update on our living situation is as follows: we are inches away from making an offer and moving to St. John, Indiana...the Gates of St. John to be specific, we really like the area and new construction is a dream come true to anyone right?! Well we are planning to make the move before baby Heinze arrives so we can start getting some things set up...soooo if you need to rent something we have a GREAT place in Crete, let me know if you are interested (Please note the Martinez family gets first dibs if and when they move back to the Chi...hopefully it will be sooner than later :)

Christmas 2008

Well Christmas came and went and unfortunately it wasn't a white christmas...although there was snow on the ground it isn't quite the same without the falling of perfect snowflakes on christmas morning! We got to see the whole family and even hosted Christmas Eve at our place, it was a GREAT christmas for Brett & I, he of course spoiled me rotten and got me everything on my list that apparently Santa was too busy to drop off : )

Baby Heinze coming this spring!!

So as of today (January 5, 2009) Brett and I are 20 weeks pregnant, we are super excited to welcome "junior" this spring, we are waiting to find out if it will be a boy or a girl, Baby Heinze is due May 29, 2009! Brett is hoping for a girl and I am hoping for a boy...

anyone have any name suggestions? or anyone think they can tell if it will be a boy or girl, we'd love to hear your feedback!
