Baby shower and Baptism day!

whew today was a rough day...leave from indiana head to a baby shower in Palos Hills then off to a baptism in manhattan then back out to Indiana...we were all pooped but had a great time both places and loved seeing some old faces and of course tons of babies!

Happy Grandparents Day!

Jade got to celebrate with her grandparents today...My parents had their first grandparents day with their first grandchild, they loved it, Bretts parents were there as well as his grandma, we also celebrated my moms birthday with a fun dinner at Lorenzetti's

Jade loves to sit on her daddy's big toys, i swear she is going to be riding 4 wheelers with her dad before a bike... she's super excited to see the snowmobile this winter...lol

09-09-09 we are supposed to be getting married today :(

Well Brett and I should be in jamaica on the white sandy beaches today getting married, but obviously we had a few obstacles come up :) we are excited to plan something just as fun for next year tho because I am getting married on a beach!! at least now i have 2 flower girls (I didn't forget about you Alyssa) so on 09-09-09 we went to a nice dinner at the Lighthouse it was great, good times good times :)

Jades First Labor day weekend!

We spent a nice relaxing weekend in Michigan with some family and friends...Jade had a blast and got to meet so many new faces, good weather, no catastrophes...ahhhh what a refreshing weekend!

Well what a busy weekend, we managed to have Jade hang out with nearly her entire family! She visited her Grandpa George and Grandma Lee (Where we got over 600 diapers from them :) thanks again!) she visited her nana and grandpa squid, her aunt Kelly, her great grandma Lila, her cousin Alyssa and of course her mom and dad...shes pooped!

Well the time has come, Kelly finally came to Illinois after 3 anticipating months since Jades arrival, she came to pick up Alyssa and head back to Utah :( but she got to see Jade for the week she was here, Jade absolutely adores her, we can't wait to see her and Alyssa again, hopefully before next summer :)

The Fair

Bunny went to her first carnival at Lake County Fair...it was HUGE, we took her throught he animals and she got to see her first bunny, she loved all the excitement there, she watched a fireworks show and just stared at the sky whereas the 4th of july she slept right through them...lol..Brett and I are normally not fans of playing any of those rigged carnival games so we had to win her a prize and actually got lucky and it only cost us like 20.00...lol, all in all it was a fun time :)

While we were at the dells, Jade was dying to make her own music video :) so her and her cousin Alyssa decided to dance to Barbie Girl..the whole park was watching them make it and it is freaking hilarious...please check it out!

Wisconsin Dells

We took our first family trip to wisonsin dells and had a BLAST! Jade was so good and had sooo much fun playing in the water... Alyssa wouldn't leave the wave pool and Brett didn't injure himself so all in all it was a good time, we also went to the Tommy Bartlett air and water show and frankly, it wasn't what it used to be... not to mention the two kids next to us who wouldnt stop throwing up didn't help the show be any more enjoyable..lol...we can't wait to go again tho!

Deep River Waterpark

Today we went to deep river waterpark...it WAS simply splashtastic. We took Alyssa and her friend Kalli to the waterpark since it IS her favorite place on earth...Jade got to enjoy a lot of walking, the girls had a blast, and Brett almost flew off the waterslide and had the crowd ooing and ahhing as he came down with a bloody arm...always trying to do something crazy! Jade even got to go in the baby pool...she loved it, although she just loves the outdoors period :)

Well another birthday has come and gone...I had such an amazing day with Jade and an awesome night with Brett...Jade and I went shopping and watched a movie then got ready for the city where Brett and i went for a GREAT dinner at Fogo de chao then drinks at martini bar...can we do this once a week..lol...

We took Alyssa bowling and boy were we in for a treat... she almost beat Brett but c'mon you know i was gonna beat 'em both :) we had a great time and it was Jades first time in a bowling Alley!




After we left the bowling alley we went to Alsip nursery to stock our fishbowl and let Alyssa play with the puppies
